Tamara Yaunches
Owner
ABOUT
As lifelong swimmer since the age of 5, Tamara never thought her career would involve swimming. It was only after she decided to stay home with her kids that she got involved with her community swim team that was just getting organized. A few short years later she discovered that the pool was her calling and she started her new career.
She has taught and coached at several levels over the last 25 years including: Learn-to-Swim, Summer League & USA Swimming Teams as well as US Masters. She is a USA Swimming Certified Coach with my American Swim Coaches Association Level 3 Education Certification. She started her community’s swim team in 2005 and continue coaching both at the Age Group as well as High School levels for many years. She spent the last 10 years overseeing and growing award winning Aquatics Programs for LifeTime Athletic, USFitness (formerly Sport&Health) and Kids First Swim Schools. She has come full circle to lead LetSwim into its next phase.

Patrick Morin

ABOUT
Patrick started instructing while serving in the Marine Corps over 25 years ago. This set the stage many years later when he began teaching part-time for Kids First Swim Schools. Shortly thereafter, he became a successful swim school Manager for Kids First and then their DC District Manager. Patrick was instrumental in assisting the Kids First Corporate office in hiring, training and opening more than 25 schools in the mid Atlantic region. Now as the co-owner of LetSwim, he is excited to bring his years of teaching and managing experience to your community.

As a lifelong lover of the water (just like her dad, Patrick) she did not go the traditional route to becoming a part of LetSwim. She took swimming lessons as a child into her teens, however her interests became very focused on other sports and Show Choir – insert jazz hands here! Although her swimming career ended, she does practice water safety and basic skills with her own little family of 5!
We are sure that her love for the water and swim safety shines through as she is excited to get to know all of the communities and work with the families of LetSwim! If you need help scheduling Private/Semi-Private lessons or getting enrolled in Group Lessons – please email her at sam@letswim.com
Julia Cashmore

About
Julia learned how to swim as a child. This began her love of swimming and instructing. At 15 she became an instructor and worked her way from instructor, to assistant manager, and then Manager of a swim school in Maryland for 6 years. She was promoted to Director of Training & Development for Kids First Swim School Corporate and worked in that role until COVID. We are so lucky to have Julia on our LetSwim Management Team. Abby Winters

About
Abby is an Administrator with LetSwim. She is entering her 6th year with LetSwim and her 2nd year serving on the administrative team. Over the years, she has worked as both a Swim Instructor and Community Manager, giving her a well-rounded understanding of the program and the families we serve. Having spent several seasons teaching lessons and working closely with parents, Abby values building strong relationships and creating a positive, supportive experience for every family. Her background allows her to provide thoughtful, responsive support and help ensure that each session runs smoothly. Abby graduated from the University of South Carolina, where she studied Exercise Science. She will start her master’s program in athletic training at the University of South Carolina this summer. She is grateful to continue being part of the LetSwim community and looks forward to another great season.

Eva Yaunches

About
Eva is returning to LetSwim this year while completing her Junior year of college at Virginia Tech where she is a student athlete. Eva is majoring in Criminology with a Psychology minor. This is her 5th year teaching with LetSwim. She loves working with children! At John Champe HS she enjoyed her Early Childhood class teaching and developing activities for her students. She learned to swim at an early age through LetSwim and she can’t wait to teach your children how to swim the LetSwim way! She can’t wait to see all her swimmers again!

Nick Ferranti
Dominion valley, piedmont
About
Nick is returning for his fourth summer with LetSwim and is an incoming freshman at Virginia Tech, where he will be majoring in Construction Engineering and Management. Having spent his entire life in and around the water, Nick has developed a strong passion for swimming and enjoys sharing that passion with swimmers of all ages.
Nick has always been committed to serving his community. During high school, he earned multiple service awards, including the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout, and spent time volunteering to teach middle school students. These experiences helped him develop the leadership, patience, and communication skills that make him such an effective instructor.
Known for his positive attitude and ability to connect with children, Nick strives to create a fun, supportive environment where swimmers can build confidence, develop strong skills, and enjoy learning in the water.
In addition to teaching lessons, Nick serves as LetSwim’s Community Manager for both the Dominion Valley and Piedmont programs. In this leadership role, he helps oversee daily operations, supports instructors, and works closely with families to ensure a positive experience for everyone involved. Nick is excited to continue combining his love of teaching with his passion for swimming and looks forward to another great summer with LetSwim families.

Charlotte Smith
Loudoun Valley II, Moorefield Green
About
Charlotte graduates from Independence High School this year and is headed to Duquesne University to pursue a Nursing degree. She learned to swim at the age of 2 and has been swimming ever since! She swims for the Stratford Sea Otters summer team and is one of their Co-Head coaches this summer Charlotte swam year around on SNOW Swimming since she was 10 and also swam for Machine Aquatics and her high school team. Charlotte is lifeguard certified and believes water safety is crucial. She has lots of experience working with children as well. She is a teacher in the Independence Early Childhood Education program and loves creating lesson plans to keep the kids engaged and excited about learning. Charlotte can’t wait to teach your children this important life skill and share her passion for swimming with them. This is Charlotte’s 3rd year teaching for LetSwim and will be the Community Manager for Lansdowne Resort, Belmont CC, River Creek CC and One Loudoun communities. After 6 wonderful years with Propel Swim Academy, Stacy is thrilled to be partnering with LetSwim where she will serve as a Community Manager, a Mentor and Trainer for future swim instructors, assist in the office, and grow the LetSwim business. She will also be implementing the new Adult Learn to Swim Program for the LetSwim communities.
She will continue to promote family water safety, both locally and abroad. She is a fierce advocate and fundraiser for the Hope Floats Foundation and is passionate for community outreach projects that stop drowning and promote the lifelong sport of swimming to all. Corina Celedoni

After more than 25 years in the corporate world, Corina decided to trade boardrooms for breaststrokes, following her lifelong passion for swimming. She has taught and assisted her 2 children since they were babies through the past 10 years of swim team. She has helped them develop into confident competitive swimmers. With a patient and kind approach, she helps swimmers of all ages—from curious kids to hesitant adults—find confidence in the water. Her lessons emphasize safety and comfort first, then progress, guiding students into proper form and technique with encouragement and expertise. Whether you’re dipping your toes in for the first time or refining your stroke, Corina makes every lesson a supportive and empowering experience.

Rylie Nolte
Dulles farms, Willowsford
About
Rylie is a rising sophomore at Roanoke College, where she competes in track and field. A lifelong athlete, she has been involved in sports from a young age, including swim lessons that sparked her love for the water and inspired her passion for teaching swimming.
Rylie previously swam for the Willowsford Waves Swim Team and worked as a lifeguard at the Lodge Pool, giving her a strong foundation in both swimming and water safety. Her love for working with children, combined with years of babysitting experience, makes teaching a natural fit.
Now entering her fourth summer with LetSwim, Rylie has become one of our most requested instructors. Families appreciate her ability to balance patience with consistency, creating a supportive learning environment that helps swimmers make meaningful progress. She is passionate about helping swimmers build confidence, develop strong skills, and achieve their goals while having fun in the water.
In addition to teaching, Rylie serves as the LetSwim Community Manager for both the Willowsford and Dulles Farms programs, where she helps oversee daily operations, supports instructors, and works closely with families to ensure an exceptional swim lesson experience. Her leadership, professionalism, and dedication to her swimmers make her a valuable member of the LetSwim team.
